Chicken Dopiyaza by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (14 Pieces) 1 ½ kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • All Spices as required
  • Green Chilies 4
  • Garlic 6 Cloves
  • Chopped onions 8
  • Red Chilies 8
  • Dry Mango Pieces 4-5
  • Fennel Seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Coriander Seeds 1 tsp
  • Chopped Ginger 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

 

Method:

  1. In a pan, add in 1 cup oil and add in chopped onions.
  2. Fry till transparent.
  3. Add in chicken.
  4. Add in 1 tsp turmeric and salt and cook in its own water.
  5. Cook it and add in fried onion, 1 cup yogurt, 2 tbsp chopped ginger and garlic, red chilies, and all spies.
  6. Cook it on a low flame.
  7. When the water dries, cook it and add in green chilies.
  8. Chicken Do Piyaza is ready to serve.
