Recipe Ingredients

  • Chicken 1
  • Rice2 – 2 ½ cups
  • Yogurt1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
  • Red chili flakes1 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper1 tbsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin1 tsp
  • Chicken tikka masala4 tbsp
  • Lemons                4
  • Chopped mint leaves1 bunch
  • Chopped green chilies6
  • Saltto taste
  • Clarified butter 1 cup
  • Chopped onion 3
  • To boil rice:
  • Chopped mint leaves½ bunch
  • Green chilies3
  • Small cardamom4
  • All spicessome
  • Saltto taste
  • Fresh milk½ cup
  • Yellow food color1 pinch

Recipe Method

  1. Mix in 1 cup yogurt, 4 tbsp chicken tikka Masala, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp red chili flakes, 1 tbsp crushed black pepper, 1 tsp roasted and crushed cumin, 2 lemon juice, 1 bunch mint leaves, chopped green chilies and some salt in the chicken and cook it without water.
  2. Boil rice  2- 2 ½ cup rice with salt, ½ bunch chopped mint leaves, 3 green chilies and all spice powder.
  3. Fry 3 onion chopped in the oil till it is golden brown. Then add the hot oil in the chicken.
  4. Grease the pan and layer the rice in the bottom. Add in the chicken and fried onion then add a layer of rice again. Mix food color with some milk and add it on the rice.
  5. Add in lemon juice and simmer it.
  6. Dish it out and serve hot.
