Masala TV recipe of Lahori Chargha by Zubaida Tariq from Handi . This mouth-watering "Main Course" recipe for Lahori Chargha can be prepared in 40 minutes and serves 2-4 people.

Recipe Ingredients

Whole chicken              1 ½ to 2 kg

Yogurt        1 cup

White vinegar         ½ cup

Lemon        4 to 6

Black pepper crushed                    1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste        1 tbsp

Red chili crushed     1 tbsp

Roasted white cumin powder    1 tbsp

Food color             ½ tsp

Chargha masala          2 tbsp

Oil            for fry

Recipe Method

Take whole chicken and mark deep cut on chicken and wash it. Now pour ½ vinegar and ½ tsp food color to mix well.

Now in 1 cup yogurt add 1 tbsp red chili crushed, 1 tsp black pepper crushed, 1 tbsp roasted white cumin and 2 tbsp chargha masala to mix.

Now with the help of lemon marinate chicken with mixture and put it In a pan to cook till water dries. Then heat oil in a wok and deep fry chicken till it turn golden brown.

Now again place it in and with 2 lemon’s juice and simmer for 5 minutes and serve.
