Recipe Ingredients

  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Chopped onion 2
  • Finely chopped garlic 3-4
  • Beef stock 1 cup
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Honey 1 tbsp
  • Boiled and ground tomatoes 2
  • Finely chopped green chilies 2-3
  • Chopped capsicum 1
  • Chopped coriander 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Ground black pepper ¼ tsp
  • Beef undercut slices ½ kg

Recipe Method

  1. First heat oil and butter in a pan and add ginger and garlic. Fry until the colour changes and add onions.
  2. As the onions soften, add in red chili powder and cook for a minute.  Then add in the undercut and cook well.
  3. Now add in tomatoes, tomato paste, honey, lemon juice and beef stock and cook for 8-10 minutes. Take the lid off and add capsicum, coriander, green chilies, salt, and ground black pepper and mix everything together.
