Masala TV recipe of Mexican Beef Chili Sauce by Chef Zakir from Dawat. This mouth-watering "Main Course" recipe for Mexican Beef Chili Sauce can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people.
Recipe Ingredients
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Chopped onion 2
- Finely chopped garlic 3-4
- Beef stock 1 cup
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Boiled and ground tomatoes 2
- Finely chopped green chilies 2-3
- Chopped capsicum 1
- Chopped coriander 2 tbsp
- Salt as required
- Ground black pepper ¼ tsp
- Beef undercut slices ½ kg
Recipe Method
- First heat oil and butter in a pan and add ginger and garlic. Fry until the colour changes and add onions.
- As the onions soften, add in red chili powder and cook for a minute. Then add in the undercut and cook well.
- Now add in tomatoes, tomato paste, honey, lemon juice and beef stock and cook for 8-10 minutes. Take the lid off and add capsicum, coriander, green chilies, salt, and ground black pepper and mix everything together.
