Recipe Ingredients

Boiled potatoes                                                ½ kg

Tamarind paste                                 1 cup

Lukewarm water                              1 cup

Lemon                                                  3

Green chilies chopped                   4

Buns                                                      4 to 6

Mint chopped                                   ½ bunch

Green coriander chopped            ½ bunch

Roasted white cumin powder    1 tsp

Black pepper crushed                    1 tsp

Mustard powder                              1 tbsp

Red chili crushed                              1 tbsp

Rice flour                                             3 tbsp

Oil                                                           as required

Salt                                                         to taste

Tamarind chutney:

Tamarind paste                                 1 cup

Black salt                                              1 pinch

Onion sliced                                       2

Roasted white cumin powder    1 tsp

Dry garlic powder                             1 tbsp

Salt                                                         to taste

Recipe Method

First boil ½ kg potato and peel it and mash it with the help of fork.

Then add 3 tbsp rice flour, 2 lemon juice, 1 tbsp mustard seed powder, 1 tsp black pepper crushed, 1 tsp roasted white cumin powder, 4 chopped green chilies, ½ bunch chopped mint, ½ bunch chopped green coriander and salt to taste to mix and grease palm bind them into patties.

Heat little oil on a flat pan and toast all patties. Now toast 4 to 6 buns and pour 1 tbsp oil on each side of bun slice.

Then place patty on bun with tamarind chutney, tomato slice and onion and serve. For tamarind chutney in 1 cup tamarind paste add 1 tbsp dry garlic powder, 1 tsp roasted white cumin powder, salt to taste and 1 pinch black cumin to mix and serve.
