Ingredients

  • Yellow Pigeon Peas 1 cup
  • Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chilies 6
  • Lemons 4
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Mint leaves as required
 

Methods

  1. wash and soak Lentil.
  2. add in 1 tsp coriander, cumin and crush them.
  3. add hot water in the lentil and also add in turmeric and cook it.
  4. in the pan, add in 1/2 cup oil, golden fry chopped garlic.
  5. add in red chili flakes, turmeric, chopped green chilies, coriander seeds and 1 tsp cumin.
  6. cook it and add the lentil.
  7. the add in milk, simmer it and add lemon juice.
  8. serve hot.
