These vegetable skewers are packed with flavor and perfect as a healthy side dish to any meal!

Ingredients:

  • Onions 2 cut into square cubes
  • Tomatoes 2cut into square cubes
  • Capsicums 2 cut into square cubes

 

Method:

Put vegetables on skewers alternating and bbq, serve with all the above in a platter.

Arabic tikka:

Ingredients:

  • Chicken ½ kg 8 pcs
  • Ginger powder ½ tsp
  • Onion powder ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp heaped
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Garlic powder ½ tsp
  • Olive oil ¼ cup
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Crushed cumin ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Oregano leaves ½ tsp
  • Sumac ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

Ingredients:

  • Tikka boti 1packet
  • Ginger garlic power 1 tsp each
  • Onion powder 1 tsp
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Mustard powder 1 tsp
  • Paprika 1 tbsp
  • Pomegranate sauce 1 tbsp

Ingredients for pomegranate sauce:

  • Pomegranate juice ½ cup
  • Lemon juice 3 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Cook all together in a sauce pan for 15 mins till thick like honey.

 

 

Method for sheesh tahook:

Marinate Tikka boti with all the given ingredients for 4 hours, put on flat skewers and bbq.

 

Method For Arabic tikka:

Prick chicken pieces well with fork, marinate with all the given ingredients for 4 hours, put on skewers and bbq.

Ingredients:

  • Undercut boti 750 gm cut in 1 inch cubes
  • Meat tenderizer 1 tsp
  • Cumin roasted & crushed 1 tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Paprika 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic powder ½ tsp each
  • Chopped onion 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 3 tbsp
  • Olive oil ¼ cup

 

Method:

Marinate undercut botties with all the given ingredients for 4 hours, put on flat skewers and bbq.
