Ingredients:

  • Red kidney beans 1 cup
  • Tomatoes (cubed) 2
  • Cucumbers 2
  • Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
  • Green onions ½ cup
  • Apple (cubed) 1

 

For Dressing:

  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Mayonnaise ½ cup
  • Orange flavor 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Cream 2 tbsp

 

Method:
In a bowl add red kidney beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh coriander, green onions and apple. Mix well and set aside. Then in another bowl add all the dressing ingredients, mix well and serve with salad.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies (grinded) 20
  • Onions 2
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Black pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Green cardamoms 4
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Cloves 6
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Rice ½ kg
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Salt to taste

 

Method:
Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, grinded green chilies, grinded onion, poppy seeds and yogurt for about 1 hour. Then heat oil add onion, crushed black pepper, cinnamon, green cardamoms, cloves, bay leaf and cumin. Cook for about 5-7 minutes. Now add marinated chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then cover and cook well for about 20 minutes, until the chicken gets tender. Now add 2 cups of water. Once it is boiled add rice and salt as required. Allow it to cook until the water gets dry and rice gets ¾ cooked. Then cover and cook on low flame for about 10 minutes until the rice are fully cooked. Serve hot with raita.

Ingredients For Marination:

  • Chicken drum sticks 6
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder ½ tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Yogurt ¼ cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Yellow color a pinch

For Coating:

  • Egg 1
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup
  • Clarified butter for frying

 

Method:
For marination in a bowl add all the ingredients. Mix chicken drum sticks in it and marinate for about 2 hours. Set aside. Then in a wok heat clarified butter. Now coat drum sticks in flour, then dip in an egg and then coat well in bread crumbs. Fry them well until golden brown. Serve hot.
