Ingredients For Chicken:

  • Chicken with skin, leg and chest pieces 500 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Green chili paste 1tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1/4 cup
  • Cold water 2 cups
  • Salt 2 tsp

Other ingredients:

  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Mustard powder ½ tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Salt to taste

For Coating:

  • All-purpose flour 1cup
  • Salt, pepper to taste


Soak chicken with salt, vinegar, cold water, ginger garlic paste, green chili paste and lemon juice for two hours. Then add red chili powder, mustard powder, egg and salt to taste in the chicken and marinate for about 30 minutes. Now in another bowl mix flour, salt and pepper. Then coat the chicken in flour mixture If you want a crispier coating, coat in the flour twice and deep fry for 20 minutes on low to medium flame. Lastly serve hot with fries.


  • Potatoes 4 medium
  • Butter, melted 2 tbsp
  • Cheddar cheese (grated) 1 cup
  • Salt, pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander (chopped) 1 tbsp



Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with foil. Then place each potato between two wooden spoons and carefully make cuts every 1/8-inch without cutting all the way through the potato. Now place the potatoes on the baking sheet and brush them with the melted butter. Season them with salt and pepper.
Then bake the potatoes until tender. Remove them from the oven and carefully insert the cheddar cheese into each cut in the potato then return them to the oven and continue baking until the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes. Now remove the potatoes from the oven, top them with the chopped coriander and serve immediately.
