Ingredients for Dhokli:

  • Flour ½ cup
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chili powder ½ tsp
  • Asafoetida powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Clarified butter 1 tsp
  • Water 1/4 cup
  • Gram flour 2 tbsp

Ingredients for Tempering:

  • Tomato finely chopped 1
  • Clarified butter 4 tbsp
  • Asafoetida 1 pinch
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Dry red chili 1-2
  • Green chili 1 (finely chopped)
  • Curry leaves 7-8
  • Green coriander 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Carom seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Split Black gram 1/2 cup

Method:
Cook lentil with turmeric, red chili and coriander. Mix all ingredients of dhokli to form dough then roll cut dhokli. Add cook lentil, cook. For tempering heat clarified butter add curry leaves, carom, asfotedia and cumin. Add tomatoes, red chili and green chilies cook. Add dhokli in cooked lentil. Garnish with green coriander,serve.

Ingredients:

  • Potato 3
  • Green coriander 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili chopped 3
  • Gram flour 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Cumin 1tsp

 

Method:

Grated the potatoes and remove excess water. Add all ingredients. Make chela on hot tawa. When it turns crispy remove. Sprinkle chaat masala, serve.
