Dry Shimla Mirch Jheenga | Tarka | Chef Rida Aftab

This special recipe of dry shimla mirch jheenga is made with prawns and capsicum in a unique way. Seafood lovers are specially recommended to try out this dish.

Ingredients:
  • Prawns with tail ½ kg
  • Capsicum 250gm
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Onion sliced 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Turmeric 1tsp
  • Cumin 1tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Red chilies crushed ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 2tbsp
  • Ginger chopped 4tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Coriander 4tbsp

Ingredients:
  • Spinach   1 kg
  • Potatoes     ½ kg
  • Green chilies    10
  • Oil        ½ cup
  •  finely chopped garlic  1 tbsp
  • Salt  ½ tsp
  • Red chilies (crushed)   2 tsp

Method:
Finely chopp spinach,and cut potatoes in small pieces wash.
In  a pan heat, oil, add finely chopped garlic.when aroma comes add crushed red chilies.
Now add potatoes, spinach, salt and let it cook on high flame.donot cover the pan .when water dries, add  chopped green chilies and  let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from the stove then tender potatoes.
Aalu palak fry is ready.
