INGREDIENTS:

  • Butter 200 gm
  • Caster sugar 200 gm
  • Mava (khoya) 50 gm
  • Cake crust 20 gm
  • Eggs 4
  • Flour 180 gm
  • Cocoa powder 20 gm
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

FOR THE ICING:

  • Sugar 500 gm
  • Water 200 ml
  • Lemon 1
  • Glucose 2 tbsp
  • Milk powder 100 gm
  • Butter 50 gm
  • Cocoa powder 2-3 tbsp
  • Butter cream as required

 

METHOD:
Beat butter, sugar and mava together until well combined. Then add eggs. Now mix all the dry ingredients, sieve and add to the wet ingredients. Mix properly. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 c for about 25 minutes.

METHOD FOR THE ICING:
In a pan add sugar, water, glucose and lemon. Cook well until it becomes ball like. Then add it to the beating machine and beat well until the mixture is thick. Now add milk powder, butter and cocoa powder, mix well. Then add little bit of butter cream and do the frosting on the cake. Lastly on the side add the cake crust and serve.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Readymade puff pastry 1 sheet
  • Chicken 200 gm
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Oil (for cooking) 2 tbsp

FOR THE SAUCE:

  • Mayonnaise 50 gm
  • Cooking cream 2 tbsp
  • Mustard paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp

METHOD:
In a bowl add lemon juice, red chili powder, salt, garlic paste, tamarind paste and oil. Mix well and make a paste. Then add chicken and mix well. Heat oil and cook the chicken well. Once it is cooked, remove and allow it to cool. Then spread the puff pastry evenly and add the chicken filling. Roll, cut and place it in the round shaped cake mould. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 c for about 30 minutes.

METHOD FOR THE SAUCE:
In a bowl add mayonnaise, cooking cream, mustard paste and garlic paste. Mix well and prepare a sauce. Once the cake is baked, pour the sauce and serve.

  • Oats 175 gm
  • Ground almonds 75 gm
  • Butter 225 gm
  • Caster sugar 115 gm
  • Brown sugar 50 gm
  • Eggs 2
  • Milk 60 ml
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Flour 115 gm
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp

 

METHOD:
Beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Then add eggs, beat well. Now mix all the dry ingredients, sieve and add to the wet ingredients. Mix properly and make biscuits out of it. Bake it in a preheated oven at 200 c for about 20 minutes. Serve.
