These Lemon & Cream Chicken Rolls are perfect for picnics and quick-fix lunch!
INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH:
- Flour 4 cup
- Yeast 10 gm
- Milk powder 1 tbsp
- Egg 1 for brushing
- Salt ½ tsp
- Bread improver ¼ tsp
- Oil 50 ml
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Olive oil for brushing
- Water as required
- Olive oil as required
FOR FILLING:
- Boneless chicken 250 gm
- Oil 2-3 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
- Cooking cream 1 tbsp
- Cabbage ½ cup
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Cheddar cheese 100 gm
- Oil for brushing
- Salad leaves for garnishing
METHOD:
FOR THE DOUGH:
- In a bowl add all the ingredients and knead the dough with water.
- Then leave it for a while to proof.
- Now divide the dough and shape it into bun size.
FOR THE FILLING:
- Heat oil and cook the chicken.
- Then add garlic paste, salt and black pepper. Mix well.
- Now add cabbage, mayonnaise, cream and ketchup. Mix well.
- Then fill the dough with the filling and again leave it for a while.
- Brush the buns with egg and add cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake at 180°c for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
