  • Beef Mince ½ kg
  • Onion (finely chopped) 1
  • Bread Slices 2
  • Green Chilies (finely chopped) 3
  • Cloves 4
  • Black Pepper 4
  • Green Cardamoms 6
  • Mint Leaves (finely chopped) ½ bunch
  • Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) ½ bunch
  • Fresh Cream ½ cup
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger (finely chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Poppy Seeds 1 tbsp
  • Chickpeas (roasted) 2 tbsp
For Gravy:
  • Yogurt  1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Green Chilies (finely chopped) 2
  • Onions (finely chopped) 3
  • Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) ½ bunch
  • Fresh Cream ½ packet
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Allspice(ground) 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste


  1. For Koftas: Grind roasted chickpeas, cumin, green cardamoms, black pepper, poppy seeds and cloves.
  2. Now add this ground spices to Mince, add fresh cream, mint leaves, coriander leaves, onion, ginger, green chilies and salt. Mix well and make small balls.
For Gravy:
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till they turn golden. Remove it on a newspaper and wait for it to turn crisp. Crush it with your hand and mix it in yogurt.
  2. Add red chili powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, ground all spice, coriander, salt and green chilies . Mix all well and slightly cook it. Add yogurt to it.
  3. Spread Fried Koftas in it. When oil start appearing on top, add fresh cream and leave it to simmer on low flame. Lastly add coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
