Mirch Bharay Pakoray Recipe

Mirch Bharay Pakoray recipe by Chef Zubaida Tariq on live cooking program “Handi” at Masala TV only.

Ingredients:

  • Green Chilies (big) 8
  • Mint Leaves (finely chopped) 1 bunch
  • Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) 1 bunch
  • Egg 1
  • Chicken Cube 1
  • Chickpea Flour 1 cup
  • Tamarind Pulp ½ cup
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Button Red Chilies (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds ½ tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Take 1 cup chickpea in a bowl, add 1 egg, salt, chicken cube and 1 tsp yogurt. Mix well, pour some luke warm water and make a thick paste.
  2. Now grind 1 bunch coriander leaves, ½ tbsp cumin seeds and 1 bunch mint leaves in a chopper.
  3. Add in salt and ½ cup tamarind pulp. Mix well
  4. Make a vertical stroke on each green chili with a knife and fill this ground. green chutney in it.
  5. Dip these filled green chilies in the chickpea mixture and fry in hot oil
