Nariyal Ki Mithai Recipe | Tarka | Chef Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Coconut powder 250gm
  • Sugar 200gm
  • Coconut chopped 100gm
  • Powder milk 250gm
  • Raisin 50gm
  • Almonds chopped 50gm
  • Water 1cup

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 300 gm
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Cream 2 tbsp
  • Ginger/garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chili paste 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Raw papaya paste 2 tbsp

For Parathas:

  • White flour 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

For Sauce:

  • Cream ½ cup
  • Mayonnaise ½ cup
  • Garlic 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp

For Garnishing:

  • Lettuce & tomatoes as required

 

Method :
Cut chicken into small pieces and put them in a bowl.
Mix in black pepper, salt, ginger/garlic paste,green chillies,papaya, cream and yogurt. Heat 2 tbsp oil in frying pan. Add chicken mixture and cook on low flame.
When chicken becomes tender, increase the flame and fry. To make parathas ; add 1/4 tsp salt ans 2 tbsp oil in flour.Knead into soft dough. Make balls from this dough and without applying any dry flour roll out into ‘ rotis ‘. Heat oil in wok and fry them. To make mayo sauce, mix all sauce inngredients in a bowl.
Keep chicken mixture in the middle of ‘ parathas ‘ then put mayo sauce on top and place tomatoes and letuce leaves on top.
Roll them up and serve with chutney/sauce.
