Ingredients

  • for the Dressing
  • Green Chilies              2 pieces
  • Garlic                          ½ clove
  • Salt                              1 pinch
  • Sugar                           1 tsp
  • Fish sauce                    1 tbsp
  • Vinegar                       1 tbsp
  • Olive oil                       1 tbsp
  • Onion (chopped)         ½ onion
  • Parsley                                    ½ cup
  • Lemon juice                ½ lemon
  • For the Fish
  • Fish                              250 gm
  • Peanuts                       2 tbsp
  • Red chili flakes            ¼ tsp
  • Parsley                        2 tbsp
  • Eggs                             2
  • Fish sauce                    1 tbsp
  • Lemon                         ½ lemon
  • Oil                               4 tbsp
 

Methods

  1. Slice the green chili, crush the garlic and add to a pestle an beat till its broken down.
  2. Further add salt, sugar, fish sauce, vinegar, olive oil, chopped onion, parsley and smash it again.
  3. To finish squeeze half a lemon on top. Keep aside so that the juices are soaked by the vegetables.
  4. Clean the pestle and add the peanuts, red chili flakes parsley and smash then but not too much as the peanuts shouldn’t turn into powder. Whisk the eggs and fish sauce.
  5. Dip the fish into the eggs and then pat it with the peanut mixture and sauté in a pan with 4 tablespoons of oil.
  6. Each side should be cooked for 3 mins.
  7. Dish the fish out and cover with the sauce that is made.
