Peshawari Naan Recipe

Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour or Flour                                     300 grams
  • Yeast                                                                            1-1/2 tsp
  • Sugar                                                                           1 tsp
  • Butter                                                                          1 cup
  • Clarified Butter                                                        as required
  • Salt                                                                               to taste

Methods

  1. Take a luke warm water add 1-1/2 tsp of yeast,1 tsp of sugar mix it well
  2. When yeast mixture is raised add it into an another mixing bowl
  3. Add 300 grams of all purpose flour or flour, to taste salt
  4. Add 1 cup of butter and mix it well with water or milk to make a dough and leave it for 2-3 hours.
  5. Now take it out the dough, fold the dough and make a small balls the roll it and make marks with help of fork.
  6. Now place the naans on preheated oven and bake it for 8-10 minutes.
  7. When its done and nicely golden brown brushing with clarified butter and bake it for 1-2 minutes.
  8. At last take it out in a serving platter and serve it hot.
