INGREDIENTS:

  • Heavy cream 1/2cup
  • Spring onion (chopped) for serving
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Leek (chopped) 2
  • Garlic 3
  • Potato (boiled) 1/2 kg
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable or chicken stock 3 cups
  • Thyme 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Hot sauce to taste

METHOD:
Heat butter, sauté leek. Then add garlic, potato, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Cook well. Now add stock and cook for another 10 minutes. Then take it out the bay leaf and blend it well in the blender. In the end garnish with cream and spring onions. Serve hot.

  • Potato (peeled and boiled) 1 cup
  • Carrot (shredded) 1 cup
  • Butter 1/2cup
  • Onion (chopped) 1/2cup
  • All purpose flour 1/2cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Dried thyme 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Chicken stock 1 ½ cup
  • Whole milk 1 cup
  • Chicken (cooked) 2 cup
  • Frozen peas 1/2cup
  • Pie crust 1 packet

 

METHOD:
Heat butter and sauté onions. Then add flour, salt, black pepper, thyme and all the vegetables. Mix and fry well. Now add milk, chicken stock and boiled chicken. Cook properly until it becomes thick. Remove from heat. Then roll pie crust and set in the pie dish or ramekins. Add the filling and cover with pie crust. Then bake it in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
