Fruit Raita Recipe is a delicious and healthy dip that is prepared with yogurt and diced fruits.

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt 2 cups
  • Mustard powder ½ tsp
  • Grapes ½ cup
  • Banana 1 sliced
  • Apple 1 finely chopped
  • Green chilies finely chopped 2
  • Fresh cream 3 tbsp
  • Roasted cumin 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Salt ¼ tsp

 

Method:

Beat curd, add cream, mustard powder, cumin seeds, sugar, green chilies and salt, mix well, add fruits, mix gently, serve cold.

Ingredients:

  • Meatballs 1packet
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts ground 10
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Whole dried milk ½ cup
  • Screw pine essence 1 tsp
  • Onions grinded 2
  • White pepper ½ tsp
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Clarified butter ½ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Green cardamom ½ tsp

Method:

Grind onion, cashew nut and coconut to a fine paste, boil Meatballs in 2 ½ cups water with salt and cardamom, cover and cook till it’s done. Heat ghee in a pan, fry onion paste, ginger garlic paste for 5 mins, add cooked Meatballs pieces, whipped curd, pepper, cream, khoya, kewra, salt, cook for 5 to 10 mins, garnish with silver warq, serve hot with paratha.

Ingredients

  • Boneless fish cubes ½ kg
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 3
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Onion small 6

Ingredients for tomato sauce

  • Tomatoes sliced 4
  • Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Onion chopped ½ cup
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing 2 tbsp

 

Method for sauce:

Cut onion, tomato and garlic, add 1 cup of water and cook till soft, blend and sieve to get a thick puree. Heat butter, add chili powder and tomato puree, thicken sauce with corn flour paste, add sugar and vinegar, and cook till sauce thick.

Method for fish:

Wash fish cubes and dry fish. Heat oil fry button onions and remove, now mix the prepared sauce with fish cubes, slice ginger, green chili, button onion, chili powder, cook for 10 mins till fish tender, serve garnished with coriander leaves.
