Tamatur aur Hara Dhania Murgh is a classic traditional dish that will delight you and your loved ones.

  • Chicken 1 kg 16 pcs
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Onion 2 chopped
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp heaped
  • Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
  • All spice ¾ tsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Tomatoes 3 blended
  • Coriander leaves chopped 1 cup
  • Green chilies 4 cut into halves


Marinate chicken with lemon juice, ginger garlic and allspice for 30 mins, blend together onion and tomatoes, heat oil in a wok, add the blended mixture, fry until oil separates, add in all the dry seasonings with chicken, cover and cook for 10 mins, add 1 cup water, cover and cook till chicken tender, just before serving fold in 1 cup chopped coriander and green chilies, serve with nan.


  • Evaporated milk 1 tin chilled
  • Condensed milk chilled 1 tin
  • Blueberry essence ½ tsp
  • Whipped cream 2 cups

Ingredients & Method for Berry Sauce:

  • Berry (any) 1 ½ cup
  • Water ¼ cup
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Color a pinch


Any berry 1 ½ cup cook with ¼ cup water, ½ cup sugar till pulpy, add in 1 tsp corn flour to thicken, lastly add in essence and color according to the berry, cool and fold in lastly when the ice cream is semi-set.


Beat chilled evaporated milk till double in volume, add in condensed milk, essence, fold in the whipped cream, mix slightly, freeze for 6-8 hours in an airtight container, open, fold in the berry sauce, again freeze until firm.


  • Sela rice boiled ½ kg
  • Cloves 6
  • Green cardamom 3
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Star anise 1
  • Salt 1 ½ tbsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Brown onion ½ cup
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Orange color a pinch
  • Saffron essence ¼ tsp
  • screwpine 1 tbsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp



Boil rice with salt and whole spices till 3 kani cooked, heat oil add brown onion, cumin seeds and boiled rice, mix, top it up with milk, color essence, kewra, leave it on dum for 10 mins, mix and serve.
