Ingredients for marination:

  • Chicken 750 gram
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Yogurt ¾ cup

Ingredients for baghaar:

  • Mustard oil ½ cup
  • Whole red chili 6-8
  • Green chilies 6-8
  • Nigella seeds ½ tsp
  • Fennel seeds ½ tsp
  • White cumin ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds ¼ tsp
  • Curry leaves 10-12
  • Asafoetida 1 pinch
  • Crushed ginger garlic 1 tbsp

Method:
Put all marination ingredients on chicken and leave for 3 to 4 hours. Now add all mixture in a pan and cook on high flame. Then slow down the flame and cook until chicken get tender and water dries. Now heat mustard oil add whole red chili, asafoetida, curry leaves, green chilies and crushed ginger garlic and fry it slightly. Then add remaining ingredients and fry them little and pour them on chicken.

Ingredients for Chicken Marination:

  • Boneless chicken ½ kg
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Green chili (blended) 2 tbsp
  • Green coriander (chopped) 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Blended onion 4 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg mace powder ½ tsp
  • Green coriander powder 2 tbsp
  • Clarified butter 4 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Ingredients for Rice:

  • Boiled sela rice ½ kg
  • Mix all spice 1 tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:
Mix all ingredients in pan except green coriander powder and chopped green coriander and put them on chicken and leave for 1 to 2 hours. Then cook on high flame. Now saute chicken and add green coriander powder and chopped green coriander. Now add half cup water and 2 tbsp oil in a pan then add half quantity of rice. Then add chicken gravy and add rest of the rice with remaining oil, mix all spice and salt and let it simmer.
