Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3/4 cup grated Cheddar
  • 3/4 cup chopped boiled chicken

Squeeze out any excess moisture from the peeled and grated potatoes and put in a bowl. Pour the melted butter over, sprinkle with the salt and pepper and stir. Scoop a heaping 1/2 cup of the seasoned potatoes into each greased waffle section, then 2 tablespoons Cheddar cheese and little chopped chicken. Top it with another 1/4 cup of potatoes. Close the waffle iron and cook for 15 minutes on the regular setting or until golden and done.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 /2 kg puff pastry

Beat the whole egg with 1 teaspoon of water and set aside. Beat the egg yolk, cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla essence until smooth. Lay out the 2 sheets of puff pastry and cut each into 4 squares. Fold the corners of the squares over by about 1 inch to make octagon shapes. Spoon about 2 tbsp of cream cheese mixture evenly into the center of each, do not spread the cream cheese. Brush all of the exposed pastry with the egg wash, then dust generously with sugar. Bake at 200 degrees C until puffed and golden brown all over, about 18 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.

  • Eggs 3
  • Ginger small piece
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped green chilli1
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Mixed vegetables 1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cloves 4
  • Black Pepper 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2 tsp

Cook the rice, with a spoon of butter and keep it aside
In a pan fry ghee, seasonings, ginger, garlic and add onions. Fry till golden brown Add mixed vegetables, chopped chillies, coriander powder, turmeric, chilli powder and garam masala. Add cooked rice, salt, pepper and mix the contents in the pan. Cook for about 5 mins on a medium-low flame Add chopped coriander leaves after removing the pan from the stove. Add lemon juice and top with halved boiled eggs and serve
