Mix Daalon Ki Khichdi Recipe | Lazzat |Chef Samina Jalil

This recipe is mix of various lentils, full of nutrients and flavors.

  • Basmati rice ½ kg
  • Boneless chicken ½ kg
  • Split Bengal gram (boiled) 1 cup
  • Black lentil (boiled) ¾ cup
  • Green gram (boiled) ½ cup
  • Split red gram (boiled) ½ cup
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Mix all spice 1 tbsp
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Clarified butter ¾ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp

Heat clarified butter in a pan and fry onion in it. Then add whole all spice, bay leaves, salt, red chili, ginger garlic paste and turmeric and saute it well. Add chicken and saute more. When chicken get tender then mix all lentils and add water and cook until boil comes. Now add soaked rice and cook then let it simmer on slow flame. Then take out and serve with chutney.


  • Whole red chilies 15-20
  • Peeled garlic 5-6 cloves
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Except oil , blend all ingredients with water. Then saute this mixture in oil. Laal chutney is ready.


  • Milk 1 jug
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Almonds, pistachios as required
  • Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
  • Rose water 1 tbsp
  • China grass (frozen pieces) ½ cup

In milk add sugar, cardamom powder and rose water and mix well. Then add china grass pieces, almond, pistachios and let it cool down.
