Ingredients:
- Rice ½ kg
- Coriander 1 bunch
- Black pepper 2 tsp
- Mint 2 tbsp
- Whole coriander 1 tbsp
- Star anise powder 1 tsp
- Fennel seed 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Onion 1
Method:
Heat oil and brown the onions. Add 2 glasses of water. With a damp cloth add mint, coriander, star anise powder, fennel seeds and let cook in the water for 10 minutes. Now add soaked rice, salt, black pepper. Take the cloth out and when the rice’s temper is done, add coriander.
Ingredients:
- Chickpea flour 250 grams
- Onion 2
- Tomato 2
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Crushed red chili 2 tsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Finely crushed green chili 6
- Coriander as needed
- Oil ½ cup
- Water 2 glasses
Method:
Heat oil and slightly brown the onions. Add tomato, cumin, red chili, turmeric, salt and cook. In the chickpea flour add 2 glasses of water and whisk together and add into the spice mixture and let cook on medium flame. Keep stirring simultaneously. Once the salan thickens then add coriander and green chili.
