Ingredients :

  • Pasandy ½ kg
  • Clarified butter 6 tbsp
  • Onion chopped 1 ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt ¾ cup
  • Black cumin ½ tsp
  • Green cardamom 4
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Whole red chilies 4
  • Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Saffron ¼ tsp
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • Cream 4 tbsp
  • Almonds chopped 2 tbsp
  • Almonds sliced for garnish

METHOD
Marinate pasanda with ginger garlic, salt and yogurt for 1 hour. Heat ghee, fry whole spices, add chopped onion, fry till golden, add in marinated pasanda’s with whole red chilies, chili powder, cook covered on low flame stirring occasionally until pasanda’s are tender, add little water if masala sticks to bottom, add in grounded almonds, cream and saffron, the gravy should be thick, serve hot with almonds and french fries.

  • Onion rings 2 large
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Clarified butter 4 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Allspice ½ tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes pure 2 larges
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Green chilies for garnishing

METHOD :
Heat oil and ghee, add onion rings, fry till transparent, add ginger garlic paste, fry for a min, add chicken and all the seasonings, fry for 10 mins till oil separates, add in blended tomatoes with half cup water, cover and cook for 20 mins till chicken tender, serve garnished with coriander leaves and green chilies.
