Sabziyon ka Yakhni Pulao is a forever favorite dish that is easy to prepare and everyone at the dinner table enjoys it together. Have it with some shami kababs and raita to make the most of it!

Ingredients for stock:

  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  • Clarified butter 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Mix whole spice 1 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Boiled peas ¾ cup
  • Boiled carrot ½ cup
  • Potatoes 1-1/2 cup
  • Beans ½ cup
  • White pepper ½ tsp
  • Green chilies ½ tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Rice 3 cup
  • Boiled eggs 2-3
  • Nutmeg, mace ½ tsp

For stock heat clarified butter add onion, garlic, ginger and tomatoes saute well. Add whole spice, fennel, cumin, salt with 4 glass of water. When stock is ready sieve it. Heat oil fry onion. Add ginger garlic paste, salt, white pepper, green chilies, nutmeg mace powder, vegetables and yogurt cook well. Cook till boil comes. Add rice with water cook till vegetables tender. Left for simmer. Garnish with boiled eggs.


  • Boiled sweet potatoes 3-4
  • Milk ½ liter
  • Condensed milk 4 tbsp
  • Dried milk 1 cup
  • Finely cut pistachios as required
  • Small cardamom powder ½ tsp

Boiled sweet potato cut in to pieces .now heat milk add small cardamom powder and condensed and cook till than boil, then add sweet potato and cook .after this mix dried milk .finally pour in small bowl and garnish with pistachios.


  • Chicken Thigh pieces ½ kg
  • Onion water 1 cup
  • Water of ginger garlic ½ cup
  • Clarified butter ¾ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed black pepper 1-1/2 tsp

Add the chicken thigh pieces in onion water and ginger garlic water then add salt and leave for whole night .now in the same water add clarified butter and cook when chicken tender then add black pepper powder and roast for 5 minutes and leave for dum then serve it .
