  • Cream 200ml
  • Milk powder 200gm
  • Unsalted butter 50gm
  • Crystallized ginger (chopped) 20gm
  • Cardamom powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Condensed milk 400gm
  • Cocoa powder 120gm
  • Pistachios (chopped) 2 tbsp


Mix the cream and milk powder and set aside. Heat butter. Add the ginger pieces and sauté for 30 seconds followed by the cardamom powder. Stir keeping with the heat on low and add the condensed milk along with the cocoa powder. Mix them well until the cocoa powder has dissolved to make a runny chocolatey liquid. At this stage add the cream & milk powder mixture. Stir to make sure there are no lumps. Let it smoothen up and start to leave the sides of the pan. Put it out in a greased flat dish. Spread out the barfi mix evenly into the dish and top with the chopped pistachios pressing into the barfi. Cool and set in the refrigerator for 2-3hrs or overnight. Cut into squares and serve.


  • Rice 2 cups
  • Eggs (boiled) 4
  • Eggs 2
  • Onion (sliced) 1
  • Green chilies (slit) 10
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Cloves 4
  • Peppercorns 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon 1”
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Pulao masala 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 lemon
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves to garnish


Heat oil and add the whole spices, onion, green chilies, ginger garlic paste. Fry till they turn light brown in colour. Now break the two eggs into the pan and scramble. Add the drained rice to it and fry for a minute. Season with salt. Now put the boiled eggs and water. Cover and cook till the rice is half done. Stir in the pulao masala and a little bit of lemon juice and mix gently. Cover and cook till all the water evaporates and the rice is done. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.


  • Pineapple (cubes) 1 cup
  • Banana 1
  • Pineapple juice 1 cup
  • Husk 2 tbsp
  • Ice cubes as required


In a blender add pineapple, banana, pineapple juice, husk and ice cubes. Blend well until combined, pour in the glasses and serve.
