This biryani recipe is a very flavorful, spicy and addictive. It will surely make your weekend lunch\dinner amazing!

Ingredients:

  • Mutton chops              75 grams
  • Chopped ginger           1 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic             1 tbsp
  • Yogurt                           1 cup
  • Biryani masala             2 tbsp
  • Ground green chilies   8-10
  • Red chili powder         1 ½ tsp
  • Roasted cumin             1 tsp
  • Cardamom powder     1 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder          ¼ tsp
  • Mace powder              ¼ tsp
  • Tomatoes                     3
  • Green chilies                4
  • Crushed coriander       1 tbsp
  • Orange food color       1 pinch
  • Boiled rice           ½ kg
  • Oil                                  ¼ cup
  • Clarified butter            ½ cup
  • Yogurt                           ½ cup
  • Cream                           ½ cup
  • Coal                               for smoke
  • Fried onion                   ½ cup
  • Salt                                ½ tsp
  • All spice powder          1 tsp
  • Salt                                1 pinch
  • Water                            as required

 

 

 

 

METHOD:

  • Marinate chops with ginger, garlic, yogurt, biryani masala, ground green chilies and all dry spices for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil, add fried onion, chops, tomatoes and green chilies, cover it and cook until chops tender.
  • Heat oil in other pan, add chops, fried onion, coriander leaves, green chilies, boiled rice, orange food color, yogurt and cream and mix it.
  • Now cover, simmer it for 15-20 minutes, give smoke of coal and serve.
