Apple Brulee Flan Recipe | Shireen Anwar

Apple Brulee Flan by Shireen Anwar recipe by Shireen Anwar is to be deliciously cooked at live cooking show “Masala Mornings” on Masala TV only.

Ingredients for pastry:

  • Butter 4 oz
  • Flour 8 oz
  • Sugar 2 oz
  • Baking powder half tsp
  • Egg 1 
  • Ingredients for filling:
  • Apples peel core & sliced half kg
  • Cinnamon powder half tsp
  • Icing sugar 2 oz
  • Ingredients for Custard:
  • Eggs 3 
  • Milk 1 ½ cup 
  • Caster sugar 2 oz
  • Vanilla ¼ tsp


1. Roll the pastry to fit a nine inches tart tray prick base, peel apples, arrange on side of the tart in a circle, slightly over lapping each other.
2. Fill the whole tart with apple slices sprinkle with cinnamon powder, bake on 190 D for 15 min.
3. till half done. Make custard by beaten eggs sugar vanilla and milk, pour the prepared mixture on to the half baked pie re bake until set.
4. Remove sprinkle with icing sugar, and keep it under a griller for 2 min. serve warm
