  • Beef (cubed) 400 gm
  • Clarified butter 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Ginger 1”
  • Green chilies 2
  • Onions 2
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cayenne pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes (chopped) 3
  • Tomato puree 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Dried fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp


Heat clarified butter. Add the onions and fry till golden, then add the ginger and garlic and cook. Add in the ground cumin, ground coriander, cayenne pepper powder, turmeric and all spice powder sauté and then the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, sugar and water and cook. When the tomatoes have begun to soften and the sauce has thickened a little, add the beef and salt. Let cook till done. Lastly add fenugreek leaves and simmer.


  • Butter 200 gm
  • Vermicelli 300 gm
  • Powdered milk 4 cups
  • Sugar 3 cups
  • Water 1 1/2 cups
  • Green cardamoms 8 to 10
  • Lemon juice 2 lemons
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds 2 tbsp
  • Pistachios 2 tbsp
  • Silver paper for garnish


In a pan add milk, water, sugar and cook. Heat butter, add green cardamoms and fry the vermicelli till light brown. Now add milk mixture. When the syrup is dry then add lemon juice, cook it till the milk becomes dry. Simmer and add saffron, almonds pistachios and garnish with silver paper and serve.
