Ingredients:

Moong Daal Pakora:

  • Yellow lentil soaked for 2-3 hours 1 Cup
  • Water ¼ Cup
  • Onion chopped 2
  • Fresh coriander chopped ½ Cup
  • Green chilies chopped 3-4
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste ½ tsp
  • Oil for frying

 

Maash Daal Pakora:

  • White lentil soaked 2-3 hours 1 Cup
  • Water ½ Cup
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Coriander chopped ½ Cup
  • Green chilies chopped 2-3
  • Baking soda 2 pinches
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds roasted & crushed 1 tsp
  • Red chili crushed 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds crushed 1 tsp
  • All spice powder ½ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Oil for frying

Method:
Moong In blender, add yellow lentils, water, blend well & set aside. Mix onion, coriander, green chilies, red chili powder, all spice powder, chaat masala, salt, ginger garlic paste, now add blended lentil mixture, mix well & set aside. In wok, heat oil and deep fry pakoras until golden brown.

Mash Daal Pakora:
In blender, add white lentils, water, blend well & set aside. Mix onion, coriander, green chilies, baking soda, chaat masala, cumin seeds, red chili crushed, coriander seeds, allspice powder, salt and mix well. Now add blended lentil mixture, mix well & set aside. Heat oil and deep fry pakoras until golden brown. For Steam Pakora: Grease ramekins with olive oil and add 1 ½ tbsp of pakora batter. In pot, heat water and place steam rack with ramekins, cover and steam for 10-12 minutes (Insert a tooth pick, if it comes clean, its done).

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breasts (cubed) 2
  • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Ginger grated 1 piece
  • Spring onions 3
  • Rice 175gm
  • Carrots 1 cup
  • Peas 1 cup
  • Green beans 1 cup
  • Vegetable stock 425ml

Method:
Mix the chicken chunks with the soya sauce, then set aside. Heat the oil, add the ginger and onions and stir fry. Add the chicken and let cook. Add the vegetables, pour in the stock, then bring to the boil. Stir in the rice. Let stir fry and serve.

Ingredients:

  • Milk 2 cups
  • red syrup 3 tbsp
  • yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Crushed ice as required

Method:
Blend all well and serve.
