Ingredients for base:

  • Flour 2 cups heaped
  • Butter 5 ounces
  • Caster sugar 2 ½ ounce
  • Chilled water as required
  • Egg yolk 1
  • Baking powder ½ tsp

Ingredients for filling:

  • Apples 3 cut in thin slices
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Corn flour 1 tsp heaped
  • Cinnamon ½ tsp heaped
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

 

Method for filling:

Put altogether in a sauce pan and cook till apples tender.

Method for dough:

Sieve flour, baking powder, add in butter and caster sugar, mix slightly with your hands till mixture resembles bread crumbs, add egg yolk, knead with chilled water, divide the dough into half, make into balls, chill for 15 mins, roll out one ball of the dough, spread on the base of the pie dish, bake blind for 15 mins, remove, put filling, roll the leftover dough, place on top, brush with beaten egg white, bake for 30 mins on 180 d.

Ingredients:

  • Mutton Chops ½ kg
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Allspice ½ tsp
  • Brown onion ground 3 tbsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp

Ingredients for topping:

  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Garlic paste ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 2
  • Coal to simmer

 

Method:

Marinate chops with ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, allspice and fried onion for 30 mins. Heat oil, add the marinated chops with 1 cup water, cover and cook till chops tender and water dries. Beat yogurt with all the ingredient, before serving heat chops, mix with yogurt, give dum of coal and serve.

Ingredients to marinate:

  • Chicken 1 kg whole
  • Salt 1 tsp + 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 3 tbsp

Other Ingredients:

  • Curry powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp heaped
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Yogurt ¾ cup
  • Coriander roasted / crushed 1 tsp
  • Cumin roasted and crushed 1 tsp
  • Orange red color pinch

More ingredients:

  • Egg 1
  • Lemon juice 1 lemon
  • Chat masala ½ tsp

 

Method:

Give cuts on chicken, marinate chicken with 1 tsp of salt and vinegar for 2 hours, remove water from chicken and marinate with all ingredients for 1 hour, now put to cook in a pan till water dries and thick masala left, mix 1 egg in the left over masala, rub well on the chicken, deep fry, sprinkle with lemon juice and chat masala.
