  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Onion, diced 1
  • Garlic, minced 2 cloves
  • Ginger, grated 1
  • Green chilies, sliced 2-4
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes, diced 2
  • Chickpeas boiled 2 cups
  • Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1
  • Coriander chopped ¼ cup

Method :
Heat oil. Add onion and cook until onion becomes translucent and begins to brown. Add garlic, ginger and green chilies. Add all spice powder, turmeric, salt and pepper, continue to cook for few minutes. Add tomatoes, chickpeas and water. Simmer. Lastly add the lemon juice and chopped coriander. Serve with rice or naan.


  • Dry dates 12-15
  • Clarified butter 2-3 tbsp
  • Almonds, peeled & sliced ½ Cup
  • Vermicelli 1 Cup
  • Milk boiled 1 litre
  • Sugar 1/4 Cup
  • Green cardamoms 3-4
  • Barfi 2 pieces
  • Pistachios & Almonds chopped handful

Method :
Soak dry dates in water for 4-6 hours and set aside. Boil for 10-15 minutes & set aside. In a pan heat ghee. Add almonds and fry for 1 minute. Add vermicelli and roast until fragrant & set aside. Heat milk, sugar, green cardamoms, mix well and bring it to boil and cook until sugar is dissolved. Now add roasted vermicelli, mix well and cook on low flame until milk is reduced to half (approx. 15-20 minutes) and keep mixing in between. Add boiled dry dates (cut into slices),mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the flame, add barfi (crushed) and mix well. Garnish with pistachio & almonds and serve.


  • Apples 2
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Cream 1 cup
  • Red syrup 3 tbsp
  • Almonds (sliced) 10
  • Oil 1 tsp


Peel the apples and cut into cubes. Now heat the oil and fry the apples in it. And remove it in a bowl. Mix it with cream and sugar. Sprinkle sliced almonds on it and drizzle some syrup on it.
