This show features two new fresh faces from the culinary world; Chef Saba Aftab and Chef Saad Ahmed. Chef Saba provides theme-based patisserie solutions while Chef Saad provides an insight to savory and dessert based baking solutions.


  • Flour 163 grams
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Salt pinch
  • Cold butter 115 grams
  • Ice water 3-5 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Egg 1 unit
  • Sugar (for sprinkling) 15 g
  • Apples slice 2
  • Flour 10 grams
  • Sugar 50 grams
  • Ground cinnamon ½ tsp
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Unsalted butter 10 grams

For Tart Base
1. In a food processor add apf, salt, sugar, butter and give it a pluse until you get a crumbly mixture
2. Gradually add water, as soon as the dough comes together stop pulsing
3. Bring the pastry dough together and cover it with cling wrap, let it chill in the fridge for 5-10mins
4. Roll it out on a baking paper and place it back in the fridge, until the filling is ready

Apple Filling
1. Add lemon juice and vanilla essence to sliced apples, give it a mix
2. In a bowl add apf, sugar, and ground cinnamon, mix it up and add it to the peaches

Baking & Serving
1. Bring out the tart base from the fridge
2. Arrange apple filling at the base of the pan and lay the pastry on top
3. Make a few slits in the pastry, apply egg wash
4. In a preheated oven bake at 190°C for 20-22mins or until deep golden brown
5. Once baked, flip the pan over while dishing it out carefully on the serving platter
6. Portion into neat wedges, and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!


  • Chicken Chunks 200 grams
  • Chopped capsicums 1
  • Chopped Onion 1
  • Chopped tomato 1
  • Cilantro for Garnish
  • Chilli Garlic Sauce 3-4 tbsp
  • Oil for Brushing
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Grated Carrot 1 small
  • Roll Wrappers 12-18
  • Oil for brushing

1. Brush a mini cupcake tray with cooking oil, set aside
2. Now brush the roll wrappers with oil or melted butter too and press each disc down into the tray
3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 7-9mins, or until golden brown
4. Let the cups cool then take them out and add a mix of chopped, grated veggies, and chicken chunks
5. Sprinkle salt pepper, drizzle sauce, and top it off with cilantro
6. Enjoy!
