Ingredients:

  • Sliced carrots ½ kg
  • Chopped fenugreek leaves 2 cups
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
  • Sliced onions 2 medium
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Ginger + green chilies (paste) 1 inch piece+3-4
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice of 1lemon

 

Method:
Heat oil then add cumin seeds and let it splutter now add onion, garlic and let it get golden. Then add carrots, tomatoes, paste of ginger and green chilies, salt, turmeric, coriander, chili powder and cook till carrots get soft. When gravy gets done then adds fenugreek leaves and cooks on high flame. Add lemon juice and serve.

1st marination of Fish:

  • Whole pomfret fish 500gm
  • Lemon Juice 1-½ tbsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Turmeric Powder a pinch

2nd marination of Fish:

  • Yogurt 3 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cayenne pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Green chili paste 2 tsp
  • Coriander leave paste 2-3 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:
First give first marination to fish then after 15 minutes give 2nd marination. Now grill fish and serve.
