Kadhi Ingredients:

  • Yogurt                                   ½ kg
  • Gram flour                          ¾ cup
  • Oil                                          ½ cup
  • Grinded onion                   1
  • Garlic paste                        1-1/2 tbsp
  • Salt                                         as required
  • Red chili powder              1 ½ tsp
  • Turmeric                              ¼ tsp
  • Whole red chili                  3-4
  • Crushed garlic                    2 cloves
  • Fenugreek seeds              ½ tsp
  • Green chilies                      1-2
  • Water                                   1 liter

 

Pakora ingredients:

  • Gram flour                          1 cup
  • Chicken                                ¾ cup
  • Chopped spinach             ¾ cup
  • Chopped green chilies    2
  • Salt                                         ½ tsp
  • Crushed red chili               ½ tsp
  • Red chili powder              1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder             ½ tsp
  • Soda                                      ¼ tsp
  • Oil                                          for frying

 

Ingredients for oil tempering:

  • White cumin                      ½ tsp
  • Onion                                    2 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic                  2 cloves
  • Whole red chili                  3-4
  • Curry leaves                       5-6
  • Oil                                          ½ cup

For garnishing:

  •  Green coriander              as required
  • All spices powder             as required

 

Method:

  • In a bowl add yogurt, gram flour and 4 cup of water. Mix it well.
  • For making curry, heat oil and add fenugreek seeds, whole red chili, garlic cloves and fry.
  • Then add grinded onion paste, red chili, salt, turmeric and roast this masala.
  • Then add yogurt, gram flour mixture and add then stir the spoon continuously.
  • Cook the khadi till it thickens, then add salt and mix it.
  • For pakoras, dissolve gram flour and mix rest of the ingredients.
  • Make pakora and fry in oil.
  • Then for tempering, heat oil in a separate pan and add all ingredients.
  • Add these tempered ingredients on top of the kadhi.
  • Finally garnish it with green coriander, all spices powder and serve .
