Ingredients:

  • Okra 500 grams
  • Cinnamon stick 1
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Onions, thinly sliced 3
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 2 tsp
  • Mango powder 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

 

Method:

Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cinnamon stick, bay leaf and sauté for a few seconds. Add the thinly sliced onions, chopped lady’s finger, turn the heat to low and sauté
At this stage add in the sprinkle salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and amchur powder. Stir until all the ingredients get well combined. Cover the pan with the lid and let bhindi do onion cook until it turns soft and tender then serve hot.

Ingredients:

  • Boiled Noodles 1 packet
  • Beef slices 200 grams
  • Corn flour 1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • White pepper 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Garlic clove crushed 3
  • Green bell pepper sliced 1
  • Carrots sliced 2
  • Cabbage sliced ½ cup
  • Onion sliced 1
  • Spring onion green part only, sliced 3
  • Green chilies sliced 1-2
  • Oil ½ cup

Chowmein Sauce:

  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • White vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 1 tbsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 1 tbsp
  • Ground black pepper 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Brown sugar ½ tsp

 

Method:
Marinate the beef with ½ tsp white pepper, ⅓ tsp salt, 1 tsp cornflour and 1 tsp soy sauce. Keep aside. Prepare the Chow Mein sauce and put aside. In a pan heat oil. Add the carrot, bell pepper, cabbage and onionfry. Sprinkle a dash of salt and black pepper. Stir fry for 3-4 mins only. Do not overcook the veggies. In the end mix the green chili and keep the veggies aside. In the same pan add oil. Sauté the crushed garlic and then add the marinated beef. Fry on medium high heat until cooked then pour in the sauce. Add the boiled noodles. Immediately add to the pan and toss well. Add the spring onions and mix. Take out on a serving plate, sprinkle some sesame seeds and serve.
