Ingredients :

  • Mutton chops 1/2 kg
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin Roasted& crushed 1 tsp
  • Coriander roasted& crushed 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Green chili Chopped 1 tbs
  • Lemon juice 2 tbs
  • Crushed red chili 1 tsp
  • Black pepper Crushed 1 tsp
  • Yogurt ½ cups
  • Tomato paste 1 tbsp
  • Pomace olive Oil 1/2 cup
  • Onion fried& crushed ½ cup
  • Green coriander for garnishing

Method:
In a bowl add mutton and all ingredients mix and leave to marinate for 2hours. then in a pan heat oil and cook mutton till its tender. finally garnish with green coriander and serve.

Ingredients:

  • Pigeon Peas 1 cup
  • Tomatopaste 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Green Chilies, chopped 1 tsp
  • Tamarind 2 tbsp

Ingredients for tarka:

  • Pomace oliveoil 1/2 cup
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Dry Red Chilies 2
  • Curry leaves sprig 1
  • Garlic, sliced 3 cloves
  • Coriander Leaves for garnish

 

Method:

In a pressure cooker, add washed dal, garlic, ginger, turmeric, red chili powder, green chili, tomatoes salt and 2 cups of water. Cover the pressure cooker and cook until done. Whisk the dal well to make it smooth. Add tamarind water to the dal and bring the Khatti dal to boil. Once it comes to a boil, turn the heat to low and set the dal to simmer. In a small tarkapan heat oil in medium heat. Add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and allow it to crackle. Once it Add garlic and fry until it starts getting golden brown. Add curry leaves and red chilies, fry for another few seconds. Pour the tarka over the dal garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
