Ingredients For the cake:

  • Butter ½ cup
  • Semolina 2 cups
  • Eggs 2
  • Shredded Coconut ½ cup
  • Saffron/Vanilla Essence as required
  • Blanched almonds 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Milk or yogurt ½ cup

Ingredients For the syrup

  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Water 1 cup
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Honey as required

 

Method:
For sugar syrup Boil sugar and water into thick syrup then add lemon and honey.
Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, saffron and milk.
Sift semolina, baking powder and soda.
Add dry ingredients in the egg mixture.
Pour it into a greased pan probably 8×12 inch. Cut into diamond shapes and put an almond on each square.
Bake for 20 minutes in a pre-heated oven of 250 or 300∘.
Take it out when golden brown on top, feed the cake with the sugar syrup evenly. Serve.

Ingredients For the crepes:

  • Eggs 3
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Oil 1 – 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp

Ingredients For Filling:

  • Chopped spring onions ½ cup
  • Cooked chicken mince 1 cup
  • Coriander and green chilies ½ cup

Other ingredients :

  • Flour as required
  • Eggs 2
  • Bread crumbs as required
  • Oil as required

 

Method For crepes:

Mix all the ingredients and put them on a side .
Method to make filling Mix them in bowl and keep them a side

Method:
Fry thin crepes in a frying pan. Put the filling in the middle and fold it in a square of a roll. Seal it with the left over batter or flour paste.
Coat the stuffed crepes in flour, egg wash and bread crumbs. Shallow fry them on medium heat until golden and crispy

Ingredients:

  • Strawberries / chopped 250gm
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Yogurt 500 gm
  • Milk 250 ml
  • Ice cubes as required

Method:

Blend strawberries with sugar until smooth.
Add milk, yogurt and ice cubes on pulse blend only.
