Chicken Ginger is a Karhai style chicken dish, with a base of tomatoes and lots of julienned ginger to give you one of the most appetizing experiences of your life.

  • Boneless chicken ½ kg
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Butter 50 gm
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Tomatoes (chopped) 2
  • Green chilies (slit) 3
  • Ginger (sliced) 2
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Oil ½ cup


In a wok heat oil and add sliced ginger and boneless chicken. Cook for 2 minutes. Then add ginger garlic paste, butter, black pepper, turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, green chilies, chopped tomatoes and yogurt. Cook well until the oil comes up. Now add as required water and cook until the gravy gets thicker. Lastly garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.


  • Rice (boiled) 1 kg
  • Chicken mince (boiled) ½ kg
  • Green color a pinch
  • Red color a pinch
  • Yellow color a pinch
  • Green chutney 1 cup
  • Tomato ketchup 2 cups
  • Butter 100 gm
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Lettuce leaves as required
  • Tomatoes as required


In the boiled rice add red chili powder, salt and black pepper powder. Mix well. Then divide it. Now in one selection add green color and green chutney. Then in another selection, add tomato ketchup and red color. Now in the third selection, add boiled chicken mince and yellow color. Mix separately. Then in a oven proof dish grease butter and layer the yellow rice. Now add green rice. Then layer the red rice. Press it well. Lastly bake it in an oven at 200 c for about half an hour. Then garnish with lettuce leaves and tomatoes. Serve hot.


  • Barfi ½ kg
  • Vanilla cake (baked) 1 packet
  • Milk 1 kg
  • Sugar to taste
  • Almonds, pistachios as required
  • Sliver paper for garnish
  • Fruit cocktail 1 tin
  • Strawberry jelly 1 cup


First crumble barfi and vanilla cake separately. Then in a pan boil the milk. Once it is boiled add crumbled barfi and mix properly. Now add crumbled cake and cook well until the mixture gets thick. Then add sugar and cook thoroughly until the sugar gets dissolved. Now remove and allow it to cool. Lastly add fruit cocktail, strawberry jelly, almonds, pistachios and garnish with sliver paper. Serve.
