Ingredients

  • Rice 300 gm soaked for 30 minutes
  • Chicken ½ kg 10 pieces
  • Onion 1 chopped
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cummins seeds 1 tsp
  • Allspice 2 tsp
  • Red chili whole 6 pieces
  • Oil ½ cup

Methods

  1. Add 2 cups water in a pan with chicken, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste
  2. Add salt, red chilies add 1 tsp allspice
  3. Let it cook until chicken is tender and 1 cup stock is left
  4. Take out chicken and measure stock.
  5. Method for rice
  6. Heat oil in a handi, fry 1 chopped onion, add cumin seeds, fry till onion light golden
  7. Add ½ tsp ginger garlic, boiled chicken, fry for 5 minutes
  8. Add 4 cups of water or stock, cook till boiling, add rice
  9. Add 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp allspice, cover and cook till done.
