This Papri has a light texture with a slight crunch. Sprinkle it on top of your Ramadan Iftaar dishes to elevate their taste.

  • Wheat flour ½ cup
  • Flour ½ cup
  • Clarified butter 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Carom ¼ tsp
  • Water as required


Mix all the ingredients and knead dough. Leave it for a while. Now make balls and spread evenly. Heat oil and deep fry until crispy. Lastly secure it.


  • Coriander ½ cup
  • Cumin ¼ cup
  • Red chilies (whole) ¼ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black salt 1 tsp
  • Tartaric 1 tsp
  • Dried mint 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Dried mango powder 1 tbsp


Roast cumin, coriander and whole red chilies. Now add with other ingredients and grind well. Lastly secure.


  • Dried plum pulp 1 cup
  • Tamarind pulp 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Water 2 cups
  • Black salt ¼ tsp
  • Roasted, crushed cumin ¼ tsp


Cook water and sugar well. Then add dried plum pulp and tamarind pulp, cook until it gets thick. Now add salt and roasted cumin. Allow it cool and secure in a bottle.
