- Chicken (pieces) ½ kg
- Onions 2
- Garlic 1 tbsp
- Tomatoes 4
- Fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Coriander seeds 1 tsp
- Star anise 2
- Salt 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Oil or clarified butter as required
In a mud handi heat oil and fry cinnamon, coriander seeds and star anise. Then add onions, garlic, tomatoes, fenugreek leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Cook well. Now add chicken and cook properly. Once the oil comes up add yogurt, cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Lastly add green chilies and fresh coriander. Serve.
- Semolina 2 cups
- Edible gum 200 gm
- Gram flour 1 cup
- Sugar ½ cup
- Clarified butter ½ kg
- Jaggery 1 cup
- Cardamom powder ½ tsp
- Almonds, pistachios as required
- Sliver paper as required
Heat clarified butter and roasted semolina and gram flour. Then in ½ cup water add sugar and jaggery. Dissolve it well. Now fry edible gum and crush it well. Then add sugar and jaggery mixture in the semolina and gram flour mixture, mix properly. Turn off the flame. Now add edible gum, cardamom powder, almonds and pistachios. Mix well. Lastly add to the serving dish and decorate with sliver paper.
