Ingredients

  • Chicken (Minced) 250 g
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • White pepper 1tsp
  • Salt To taste
  • Bread slice 1 slice
  • Roasted chickpeas 1 tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Coconut (Grated) 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Curd ½ cup
  • Onion (Paste) 3
  • Egg 1
  • Onion (Chopped) 1
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Coriander leaves A few

Methods

  1. In a blender, mix together the bread slices, green chilies, chickpeas,
  2. Add poppy seeds, coconut, salt, white pepper, onion, and egg.
  3. Mix the mince and shape into balls.
  4. In a pan heat oil and add the onion paste. Fry till golden
  5. Then add curd, almonds paste, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, salt and sauté.
  6. Add the koftas to the onion paste mixture.
  7. Now cover the pan and let everything simmer for 5 minutes
  8. Until the mince is cooked through and the oil begins to separate from the gravy.
  9. Add water to make gravy, and cook further on a low heat for 5 minutes more.
  10. Serve with Nan.
