Ingredients:

  • Beef Mince ½ kg
  • Roasted gram 3 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts ground 15
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Allspice powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped ¼ cup
  • Brown onion crushed 2 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Yogurt thick 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4 grinded
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp grinded
  • Onion ½ cup grinded
  • Bread soaked 1 slice

Ingredients for yogurt mixture:

  • Yogurt 1 ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Brown onion crushed ¾ cup
  • Chili powder 3 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Allspice 1 tsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin 1tsp

Other ingredients:

  • Potatoes ½ kg
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • Mixed whole spices 1 tbsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Nutmeg grinded ¼ tsp
  • Mace grinded ¼ tsp
  • Green cardamom grinded ½ tsp
  • Ginger julienne 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Dried fenugreek ½ tsp

 

Method for kofta:
Put all the above ingredients in your mince in the chopper and grind to a smooth fine paste, mix well and keep aside.

Method for yogurt mixture:
In the bowl add 1 ½ cu yogurt, ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp heaped, brown onion crushed ¾ cup, chili powder 3 tsp, dhania powder 1 tbsp heaped, allspice 1 tsp, roasted and crushed cumin 1tsp, mix all together, keep aside.

Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add whole spices, half cup water and your yogurt mixture, fry for 5 mins, make koftas with mince mixture and add it to the oil slowly, add 1 cup water with potatoes, cover and cook for 5 mins on high flame, now cook on low flame till potatoes tender, add in brown onion crushed 1 tbsp, kasuri methi ½ tsp, nutmeg and mace powder, green cardamom powder, leave it on dum for 5 mins, remove and garnish with ginger julienne, coriander leaves, serve with parathas or taftan.

Ingredients:

  • Baby potatoes 1 kg
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Green chilies 4
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 3 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp

 

Method:

Pre-heat the oven to 180 d, wash baby potatoes well, prick them with fork, apply oil, roast the potatoes in oven for 35-40 mins till done. Chop green chilies, coriander leaves, cut the potatoes in halves when done with skin still on, take lemon juice, sugar, salt, all the seasonings, mix well, add the potatoes and toss, serve the salad, garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Ingredients for potatoes:

  • Potatoes boiled & mashed 750 gm
  • Salt & pepper 1 tsp
  • Butter 4 ounce
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Chicken powder ½ tsp
  • Cream cheese 2 tbsp

Ingredients for mince:

  • Beef Mince 750 gm
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Chopped onion 1 cup
  • Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 ½ tsp
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Chicken powder 2 tsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Baby corn 1 tin
  • Mushrooms 1 tin

For garnishing:

  • Cheddar cheese ½ cup
  • Parmesan cheese ½ cup
  • Parsley finely crushed 1 tbsp

 

 

 

 

Method for potatoes:
Boil and mash potatoes, mix with all the given ingredients well, put into piping bag, keep aside.
Method for minceHeat oil in a pan, add chopped onion , fry for 5 mins, add in mince, cook for 10 mins, add tomato paste, then all the sauces and seasonings, chicken powder, water, cover and cook till mince tender and thick, add whole corns and sliced mushrooms.
To assemble Put the mince into the pyrex dish, top with piped mashed potatoes, cover it with cheddar and parmesan cheese, parsley, bake on 180 d for 20 mins, serve hot with garlic bread.
