Arvi Koftay is a forever favorite dish that is easy to prepare and everyone at the dinner table enjoys it together.

  • Beef minced 500 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Green chili paste 1 tbsp
  • Onion chopped half
  • Bread slices 2 sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Gram flour 2 tbsp

For Gravy:

  • Taro (sliced) 1 cup
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Onion paste ½ cup
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder ½ tbsp
  • Water as required
  • Fresh coriander for garnish
  • Ginger julienned for garnish



For meat balls, mix all ingredients in bowl. Add in chopper to form meat balls. For gravy heat oil add ginger garlic paste cook well. Add all spices and taro fry well. Add onion paste and yogurt mix well. Leave for cook when taro is 80% done, cook well tills the oil and gravy is separate. Add meat balls leave for simmer for 10 minute. When meat ball is ready add green coriander and ginger.

Ingredients for Dough:

  • Flour 1 kg
  • Egg 2
  • Sugar 40 gm
  • Salt 15 gm
  • Yeast 15 gm
  • Bread improver 5 gm
  • Butter 50 gm

Ingredients for Pizza Chicken:

  • Chicken boneless cube 1 cup
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Ginger & garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Pizza sauce as required

In bowl mix flour and all ingredients, knead well. Leave it for 10 minute. Make balls from batter. Cut with cookie cutter. For pizza chicken heat oil, add ginger garlic paste fry well. Add chicken with all ingredients cook for 4 to 6 minutes. After that, pour pizza sauce, chicken and all ingredients on dough for topping. Leave for 20 to 25 minute to rinse. When done place in preheat oven and bake for 10 to 12 minute.


  • Chicken with bone 750 gm
  • Oil 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Green chili paste 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 4 to 5 tbsp
  • Potato cubes 1
  • Carrot cubes 1
  • Green peas ¼ cup
  • Aluminum foil as required



In mixing bowl add all ingredients of chicken to marinate and keep in fridge for 30 minute. Add potatoes, carrot and peas let them boil. Heat oil adds chicken fry well then add water leave for simmer. Remove chicken and add vegetables in spice. Cover with aluminum foil adds chicken pieces, vegetables to create foil packet. Add chicken packet in steamer and steam for 15 minute. Remove and serve.
