Ingredients:

  • Mutton ½ kg boiled
  • Gram lentil 1 cup
  • Split Red gram 1 cup
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Green chilies 6 chopped
  • Coriander leaves 3 tbsp
  • Onion 1 sliced
  • Water 4 cups
  • Salt ½ tsp

Other ingredients:

  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Green cardamoms
  • Cinnamon 1 inch piece
  • Curry leaves 25
  • Tamarind pulp ½ cup
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Onion chopped 1 cup
  • Tomatoes 2 chopped
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1-½ tsp
  • Cumin roasted 1-½ tsp
  • All spice ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves 3 tbsp

Ingredients for Baghar:

  • Whole red chilies 6
  • Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  • Clarified butter ¼ cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Mustard ½ tsp

 

Method for daal:
• Boil lentil with turmeric, chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, sliced onion, salt and 4 cups of water till tender.
• Cool, blend and keep aside.
• Then, boil mutton in 2 cups water until ¾ done, keep aside.

Method:
• Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion and whole spices, dry seasonings, ginger garlic and boiled mutton with choppered tomatoes and fry well.
• Add the blended lentil, cover and cook until done.
• Lastly, add tamarind pulp, all spices and give baghar.
• Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve with rice.

Ingredients:

  • Beef mince 600 gm
  • Green chilies 4 chopped
  • Onion chopped 1 cup
  • Butter 4 ounce
  • Roasted & crushed cumin 1-½ tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Allspice ¾ tsp
  • Chicken powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

 

Method
• Put all ingredients in a chopper and chopperise well until smooth.
• Leave it for a while, then put on skewers and bbq on charcoal.
• Wrap Kababs in chapaties, then in foil with Barbequed chilies and onions.

Ingredients:

  • Digestive biscuit crumbs 1-½ cup
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
  • Butter melted 2-½ ounce
  • Condensed milk 1 tin
  • Flaked coconut 2 cups
  • Bread slices 1-½ to 2 cups
  • Eggs 2
  • Vanilla 1 tsp
  • Chocolate chips 1 cup

 

Method:
• Preheat oven at 180 degree.
• Mix biscuit crumbs, sugar, coco and butter, then firmly press onto bottom of ungreased rectangular 13 x 9-inch pan and bake for 10 mins.
• Mix condensed milk, coconut, bread crumbs, eggs, vanilla and chocolate chips.
• Mix until blended, spoon over crust, spreading and bake for 30 mins until lightly brown.
• When cool, cut into bars and serve.
