Recipe Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken ½ kg
  • Gram lentils ½ cup
  • Red chilies (whole) 8
  • All spices (whole) a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • White cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Egg whites 1
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Chapati 6
  • Mint chutney:
  • Ingredients:
  • Mint a bunch
  • Chopped tomatoes 3
  • Lemon 2
  • Green chilies 6
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Recipe Method

  1. In a skillet, add in chicken, gram lentils, red chilies, all spices, white cumin seeds, ginger garlic, coriander seeds, salt and water and let it cook. When the lentils get tender and the water dries out, chop up the mixture in the food processor.
  2. Then, add in corn flour and egg white and mix in the mixture well. Now make them into shami kababs and shallow fry in hot oil.
  3. To make mint chutney, blend in mint, green chilies and tomatoes. Then heat oil in a pan and add in the mixture with salt and lemon.
  4. Now cut the chapatti in half and put the kabab in it. Roll it outi n shape of a samosa. Then spread chutney on to the next half and make it into a samosa again. Serve hot.
