Ingredients:
- Dates 25 replace seeds with 1 whole almond in each
- Butter 5 ounce
- Sugar 4 ounce
- Egg 1 + 1
- Flour 8 ounce
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Vanilla ¼ tsp
- Desiccated coconut as required
METHOD:
Beat sugar and butter till creamy, add in egg and beat till mixed, add vanilla, mix in the sieved mixture of flour and baking powder, if mixture feels hard, add a tsp of milk, make small balls, crust them flat, put a date in the center with almond, form the dough into an egg shape around the date, dip 1 by 1 in beaten egg, roll in desiccated coconut, bake for 20-25 mins on 180 D till golden.
Ingredients:
- Baby potatoes boiled and peeled 1 kg
- Oil ¾ cup
- Coriander leaves chopped 3 tbsp
- Tamarind pulp ½ cup
- Gur powdered 2 tbsp
- Chili powder 1 tbsp
- Crushed coriander 1 tbsp
- Crushed Coriander 1 tbsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Salt 1 ½ tsp
- Basin 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Baghar:
- Curry leaves 25
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp heaped
- Kalonji ½ tsp
METHOD:
Take half cup water in a bowl, add in chili powder, crushed coriander, crushed cumin, salt, turmeric, mix and keep aside. Heat oil, add baghar with potatoes, fry for 10 mins till slightly golden, add basin, fry for another 5 mins, add in all the masalas mixed with water, fry till it coats the potatoes well, add tamarind pulp, powdered gur, mix, serve garnished with coriander leaves.
Ingredients:
- Frozen cheese balls 1 packet
- Oil for frying
METHOD:
In a wok heat oil and fry the frozen cheese balls. Lastly serve hot.
